Arnett, Poehler keep Emmy rehearsals casual

LOS ANGELES - The Emmy Awards 2011 were still a day away, but the Nokia Theatre was already in turmoil Saturday celebrities jumped in to repeat their lines for the ceremony Sunday.

TV stars such as Will Arnett, Amy Poehler and Zooey Deschanel practiced awarding prizes Emmy swooping on stage inside the theater almost empty. Seat-saving placards sat, where real stars will be Sunday. Laura Linney, nominated for her leading role on "The Big C" and the multiple candidate (and winner repeat) Jon Stewart have both seats in the driveway easy steps.

Poehler, a candidate for the production of double and starred in "Parks and Recreation" went free makeup for rehearsals on Saturday. Dressed casually in jeans, a buttoned shirt, bare pumps and a ponytail, actress presented an Emmy jokingly Barack Obama, "for this rehearsal only."
When the producers asked him to practice accepting a prize winner absent, Poehler play the winner of false reprimanded: "(He) thought it was too special to come tonight," she said. "Bad idea."

Poehler Arnett husband is a fellow Emmy nominee for her role as guest star on "30 Rock," directed a cup of coffee before running on stage through her lines with co-presenter Deschanel. He wore jeans, a T-shirt and a black jacket, she shook a red sweater with a horse on it on skinny jeans and pumps. Together, they have reorganized their presentation of the comedy series writing award.

"I was on a switching things around," she said.

Once they got their lines down, Deschanel was afraid to open the envelope of the winner.
"She said it. Can you tell? "She asked a manager off the stage. She got the OK, presented a trophy to the winners false false, and, Arnett and two liners disappeared under the stage. Also Saturday rehearsals were the tenors, who will perform during the show "In Memoriam" segment.
